A. Rowan is a poet and novelist living on the North East coast of Florida, whose work explores the haunted spaces between grief, survival, love, faith, memory, and reinvention. Originally from California, she writes emotionally immersive poetry and psychologically layered fiction shaped by motherhood, chronic illness, loss, and the quiet resilience required to begin again after life changes everything.

At the center of both her life and work is her devotion to her husband and children, who remain the heartbeat beneath every page she writes. Their love, laughter, sacrifices, and unwavering presence continue to remind her that even in the darkest seasons, there are still reasons to stay soft, hopeful, and fiercely human.

Her work often lingers in the darker corners of human experience, where silence carries weight, memory has teeth, and healing is rarely clean or uncomplicated. Through lyrical prose, intimate imagery, and emotionally charged storytelling, Rowan creates worlds that ask what remains of us after heartbreak, trauma, devotion, and survival leave their marks.

She is currently completing her Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing with a concentration in poetry at Southern New Hampshire University. Her current projects include the poetry collection Inheritance and the dark fantasy novel Fate’s Path. When she is not writing, she can usually be found near the ocean, collecting fragments of conversations, storms, and stories she has not learned how to let go of yet.
